Overview
CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) is seeking an experienced senior-level Information Technology Enterprise Architect to support the IT mission of a large-scale government enterprise. The role includes collecting information for strategic business mission planning and IT investment, and applying knowledge of PMI, ITIL, CISSP, SDLC, Agile, ISSO, Six Sigma, and CMMI. Base pay range: $126,186.67/yr - $171,253.34/yr. Employment Type: Full-Time, Senior-Level. Department: Information Technology. Responsibilities The IT Enterprise Architect position requires the candidate to possess knowledge, experience, and abilities to broadly understand an organizations various technologies and to work with organizational leaders to collect information for strategic business mission planning and IT investment. The IT Enterprise Architecture candidate will demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and professional maturity and senior-level IT competency, with excellent oral and written communication abilities, and knowledge and experience in organization processes and procedures (PMI, ITIL, CISSP, SDLC, Agile, ISSO, Six Sigma, CMMI). Experience with EA frameworks (e.g., Zachman, TOGAF) and providing a holistic view of the enterprise for system owners, planners, designers, developers, and subcontractors, within budget constraints. Additional demonstrated knowledge and experience in the following areas: Windows desktop applications, remote access, MS Windows environments, SQL Server, VMware, EMC, SAN storage, Cloud services, BroadWorks, Polycom, BlackBerry, Apple iOS, information security, wireless technologies, system networking, etc. Understanding and utilization of ITIL, PMI project management, Agile, and change/configuration controls. Capability to provide technical engineering practices recommendations and enhancements from prior system integration engagements. Exceptional writing, verbal, and interpersonal negotiation skills with the ability to work confidently and independently with minimal guidance.
