Overview
We are seeking a skilled Labor & Employment Attorney with 3-5 years of experience to join our dynamic legal team in New York City. The successful candidate will handle a diverse caseload involving workplace disputes, including discrimination claims, wrongful termination, harassment, wage and hour violations, and other employment-related matters. This role offers the opportunity to represent both employees while working on complex litigation and providing strategic counsel. Responsibilities
Manage all phases of employment litigation from initial case assessment through trial and appeal Handle discrimination cases under federal, state, and local laws (Title VII, ADA, ADEA, NYSHRL, NYCHRL) Represent clients in wrongful termination claims Litigate sexual harassment and workplace harassment matters Handle wage and hour disputes including overtime, minimum wage, and classification issues Conduct depositions, attend court hearings, and participate in mediations Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and legal briefs Education & Licensing
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school Admission to practice law in New York State 3+ years of labor and employment law experience Proven litigation experience with employment-related matters Experience handling cases in federal and state courts in New York Track record of successful case resolution through trial, settlement, or alternative dispute resolution What We Offer
Annual salary between $110,000 and $150,000, plus bonus.
