Overview
We are partnering with a large, multi-billion-dollar firm seeking to fill a key federal and state tax position in their Tax Department. Base pay range $125,000.00/yr - $165,000.00/yr
Responsibilities
Lead and develop the tax team; manage direct reports.
Support federal and state tax planning, compliance, and reporting.
Assist with due diligence and planning for mergers and acquisitions; drive process improvements.
Provide tax guidance consistent with US GAAP (ASC 740) and Sarbanes-Oxley 404 requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement tax technology and tools.
Qualifications
8+ years of tax experience from a public accounting firm
Minimum of 2 years managing a team of direct tax professionals
Progressive upward mobility with both Federal Tax and global income tax accounting skill set
Strong background with US GAAP and tax accounting (ASC 740) and Sarbanes-Oxley 404
Experience with due diligence and acquisition planning, mergers, and process improvement
MST is desired
Tax technology software experience
