Overview

LHH has partnered with a well-established real estate company that's looking to add a Senior Property Accountant to their team. This professional will handle full-cycle property accounting for a portfolio of commercial real estate. Responsibilities

Prepare property reconciliations and budgets as well as mid-year CAM reconciliations. Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports for properties. Abstract lease documents into the accounting ledger. Prepare account reconciliations and supporting schedules for SEC filings. Coordinate refunds to tenants or process collections on outstanding escrow, reconciliation, and direct pass-through amounts. Audit and analyze tenant ledgers. Verify accuracy of all bills and ensure amounts are coded correctly. Prepare journal entries. Create and maintain schedules for amortization, tenant improvements, and escrows. Review budget information and provide variance explanations. Prepare operating expense invoices. Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required 2-5 years of accounting experience, preference for real estate industry exposure Commercial property accounting experience preferred Proficiency with Yardi Strong communication skills, able to collaborate with management at all levels Benefits
