Marketing Strategist | Building Brands & Driving Growth in Healthcare, Financial Services, Higher Education & Professional Services Location

This position requires working on-site, three days a week (Tuesday through Thursday), in HAUPPAUGE, NY. Key Responsibilities

Oversee and work with digital team members and SMEs to develop and implement comprehensive organic digital media strategies aligned with client’s business goals. Stay updated with industry trends, algorithm changes, and best practices to ensure the company\'s strategies are current and effective. This Director will be expected to have an eye on performance across organic tactics and recommend optimizations as necessary. This Director will report to the Senior Director, Digital Strategy. Tactics and Responsibilities

SEO Management: Oversee and execute SEO strategies, including keyword research, on-page optimization, link building, and technical SEO. Collaborate with web developers and content creators to write and ensure SEO best practices are followed. LSO Management: Oversee and execute LSO key deliverables, including GBP, optimizing websites for local SEO, building reviews across various directories, gathering and managing customer reviews, creating local content, etc. ORM Management: Manage ORM strategy, deliverables, and reporting across clients. Grow AW’s ORM service to clients as an opportunity for organic growth. Work with the Senior Director, Digital Strategy to create presentations and deliver them to prospective clients. Content Marketing: Lead content strategy and development, including blog posts, articles, infographics, videos, and other content formats. Ensure content is optimized for search engines and aligns with the brand\'s voice and objectives. Work with our Content Director to manage the production of consistent trending digital blogs and emails for Austin Williams Marketing Minute and other projects as needed. Email Marketing: Manage email marketing strategy and deliverables/deployment across clients. Grow AW’s email marketing service to clients as an opportunity for organic growth. Work with the Senior Director, Digital Strategy to create presentations and deliver them to prospective clients. Work closely with and oversee AW’s Organic Social Media Strategist to develop and manage organic social media strategies to increase brand presence and engagement across platforms. Analytics and Reporting: Collaborate with the analytics team to gain insight on the effectiveness of organic digital media campaigns across SEO/LSO, ORM, email marketing, and organic social media. Contribute to providing insights and recommendations based on data to improve performance and achieve KPIs. Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment. Ultimately, manage a junior strategist(s) to assist across organic marketing tactics. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate cross-departmental communication to enhance project outcomes and operational efficiency. Collaborate with other departments, including Account Management, Development and Analytics, to ensure alignment and support for digital marketing initiatives. Work closely with the Account Management team to ensure efficient workflows and client expectations are met. Measurement for Success
