Position Summary Walmart Connect is seeking a Manager, Yield Insights to join the Yield Management & Strategy team in our Hoboken, NJ office. We are looking to expand our team to provide increased focus on how we share the data, numbers, and insights into the larger Yield team develops. We are looking for an individual who will be able to synthesize complex data models to create clean and concise visualizations and presentations that can be consumed and understood by all levels of experience and knowledge. We are looking for someone with a significant background in quickly comprehending advanced data models and simulations to create visually appealing, well-crafted compelling narratives that can drive action and results across the organization. This individual will be responsible for key deliverables including Weekly and Quarterly Business Reviews as well as working cross-functionally to publish our monthly newsletter. This is a role with high visibility to senior leadership across the Operations and Client Services organization as well as Walmart Connect.

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver executive-level presentations, papers, and deliverables to ensure Yield strategy and recommendations are understood and implemented.

Provide strong team leadership and associate development for the Yield Insights team to grow the team, increase performance and provide excellent service to the teams we support.

Contribute to establishing team goals and vision, working directly with the team to execute, measure progress, and share results.

Partner closely with Sales Strategy, Revenue Operations, Business Operations, Marketing, Product, Sales and Client Services to ensure Yield findings and results are producing the desired results and reflecting the ever-changing needs of the business.

Represent Yield in strategic conversations around revenue maximization, providing data-driven insights and context for new or improved ad products, changes to policy, and ad product and revenue strategy.

Build productive and positive relationships across the organization at all levels to drive influence.

Qualifications

Advanced degree in quantitative discipline (e.g., Statistics, Operations Research, Economics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Finance) or equivalent practical experience.

Strong management consulting background in a technical industry (such as Digital Media, Online Auction, Programmatic) or comparable experience - 10+ years of experience preferred.

4+ years’ experience in quantitative or data analysis/data science.

10+ years of Digital Yield or Digital Ad Operations working experience with a solid understanding of advertising KPIs.

Experience creating and utilizing various machine learning-based tools or processes to develop models and algorithms to mine large datasets, validate data and model accuracy, and analyze, recognize, and interpret trends.

Strong working knowledge of CRM and AdTech systems required, and experience with Ad Network/Ad Exchange/DSP/SSP preferred.

Fluency in the language of digital media and online measurement: impressions, CTR, CPM, STR, fill rates, unique users, page views, visits, viewability, demo comps, etc.

Familiarity with marketing principles, advertising metrics, inventory forecasting and the concepts and technology associated with digital advertising.

Extremely strong business communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to express complex technical topics clearly and easily.

Experience with data science programming languages (Python or R), and experience with SQL and relational databases (e.g., Hive, BigQuery) a plus.

Proven ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines in fast-paced, ambiguous environments—maintaining focus, adaptability, and a positive outlook.

The annual salary range for this position is $108,000.00-$216,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include Stock.
