Compensation The salary range for this position is $65,600 to $88,560. Compensation is based on location and experience.

Job Summary Meow Wolf is seeking a Paid Search Specialist to manage and optimize our paid search campaigns as we scale our marketing efforts and drive awareness for our immersive experiences. If you’re passionate about performance marketing, obsessed with ROAS, and thrive in platforms like Google Ads and Bing, this role is for you.
As our Paid Search Specialist, you’ll take the lead on strategy, execution, and optimization of all paid search campaigns. You’ll work closely with the digital team to ensure campaigns are aligned with broader marketing goals, while continuously testing and refining to improve performance. You’ll also collaborate cross-functionally to inform ad copy, landing page experience, and measurement strategy.
From uncovering new keyword opportunities to crafting high-converting campaigns, you’ll be at the forefront of how we show up in search and how we turn curiosity into conversions.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, launch, and manage campaigns across all Google Ads and Microsoft Ads campaign types.
Conduct keyword research, audience segmentation, and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities.
Write and test compelling ad copy and extensions tailored to audience intent.
Manage budgets and bidding strategies to maximize ROAS and meet campaign goals.
Monitor and analyze campaign performance, surfacing insights and opportunities for continuous improvement.
Collaborate with analytics team to ensure accurate conversion tracking and attribution.
Work cross-functionally with creative and web teams to align ad messaging with landing page content and UX.
Stay on top of industry trends, platform updates, and best practices.
Present performance updates and optimization recommendations to internal stakeholders.
Support A/B testing, geo experiments, and new paid search initiatives.
Analyze search query reports to refine keyword targeting and uncover opportunities for growth.
Perform ongoing optimizations including bid adjustments, negative keyword management, and Quality Score improvements.
Utilize Auction Insights and competitive benchmarking tools to inform bidding and positioning strategies.
Required Qualifications
3–5 years of experience managing paid search campaigns on Google Ads and Bing.
Deep understanding of SEM campaign structure, match types, bidding strategies, and Quality Score.
Proven track record of optimizing for performance KPIs (e.g., CTR, CPA, ROAS).
Experience with campaign planning, keyword research, and competitor analysis.
Proficiency in Google Ads Editor, Google Analytics 4, and CM360 or similar tools.
Strong analytical skills with fluency in Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, formulas, etc.).
Work Environment and Physical Demands To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed must be representative of the knowledge, skills, minimum education, training, licensure, experience, and/or ability required.
Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and scanners.

Physical ability to walk, stand, take stairs/elevators, and navigate the elements during the day and night. Employee may be required to remain in a sitting or standing position for prolonged periods, and repeat motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds at times.

Work Schedule This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. or 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
