Job Description:

A CMDB/CSDM Business Analyst is a client-facing role and will be working with an engagement team to develop and implement CMDB/CSDM solutions for various engagements.

Responsibilities

A CMDB/CSDM Business Analyst is a client-facing role and will be working with an engagement team to develop and implement CMDB/CSDM solutions for various engagements.

Expectations

2+ years experience working with ServiceNow CMDB/CSDM Solutions

Ability to translate complex technical specifications to business terms for customers

Understand SOW/Contract details, milestones, scope, etc.

Translate business logic from customers into technical terms and stories for development

Lead workshops to demonstrate ServiceNow features, walk through processes, and collect requirements

Lead trainings for various client learning personas

Conduct guided UAT sessions with customer stakeholders

Identify project risks, issues, actions, and decisions and communicate them appropriately

Prepare workshop materials (demo, deck) and send materials and agenda 24 hours in advance

Document meeting notes after client calls and share within 24 hours

Technical documentation skills: workshop materials, end-user guides, playbooks, user stories, etc.

Proficient with the agile lifecycle

Resourceful: use data sources such as ServiceNow Docs, NowCreate, etc.

Capable of analyzing data to streamline manual tasks

Proactive and self-motivated; meets deadlines without need for direct instruction

Ability to work independently and interact with customers professionally

Willingness to ask for help or clarification when needed

Meet quality standards; avoid presenting incomplete information to customers

Ability to identify scope creep and manage it through proper channels

Proficient in ServiceNow platform features (CSA certification)

Additional CIS certifications for the application (Vulnerability Response Certification if applicable)

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Teams, Outlook)

Understanding of ITIL 4 fundamentals (ITIL 4 Foundation certification)

Salary information: The base salary range for the tagged location is $75,582 - $170,040. This role may be eligible for additional compensation, such as bonus or commission.
