A CMDB/CSDM Business Analyst is a client-facing role and will be working with an engagement team to develop and implement CMDB/CSDM solutions for various engagements. Responsibilities
2 Years experience working with ServiceNow CMDB/CSDM Solutions Ability to take complex technical specifications and articulate it to a customer in business logic Becomes familiar with SOW/Contract and understand the task at hand, milestones, scope, etc. Ability to translate business logic from customer into technical terms and stories for development Lead workshops to demo ServiceNow features, walk through process, and collect requirements Lead training to various client learning personas Conduct guided UAT sessions with customer UAT stakeholders Understand project risks, issues, actions, and decisions and communicate them through appropriate channels Come prepared for workshops with materials (demo, deck, etc.) and send out materials and agenda 24 hours beforehand Document meeting notes after client calls and send within 24 hours Create technical documentation such as workshop materials, end user guides, playbooks, and user stories Proficient with the agile lifecycle Be resourceful and use common data sources (e.g., ServiceNow Docs, NowCreate) Ability to manipulate data to find quicker ways to complete manual tasks Be proactive, meet deadlines, work independently, and interact with customers professionally Ask for help or clarification when unsure Meet quality standards and avoid presenting incomplete information to customers Identify scope creep and handle it through appropriate channels Proficient in ServiceNow platform features (e.g., CSA certification) Hold additional CIS certifications for the applicable application (e.g., Vulnerability Response Cert) Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Teams, Outlook Understand ITIL 4 Fundamentals (e.g., ITIL 4 Foundation) Ability to Produce: Base Requirements, Technical Requirements, Requirement Analysis, Process Documentation, ServiceNow Stories, ServiceNow Demos Qualifications
