American Traveler is seeking an experienced Pediatric Echo Technologist/Cardiac Sonographer with at least 3 years of pediatric and adult echo experience, including neonatal studies.Job Details•Work in a Level I Trauma, teaching hospital and multiple affiliated locations specializing in pediatric and adult echocardiography,•Primary home base is Evanston Hospital with required cross-coverage at Highland Park, Skokie, Swedish, and Glenbrook locations,•Perform inpatient and outpatient pediatric echocardiograms, including babies under 1 year old and neonatal cases in labor and delivery and Infant Special Care Units,•Daily caseload averages 7 echocardiograms per technologist,•Use Phillips equipment and Epic charting (Epic experience preferred),•Required participation in 8-hour day shifts, with start times ranging from 7:00am to 8:00am,•Rotating weekend shifts every 4th to 6th weekend and on-call required twice per contract, covering 6-7 days, which may include additional weekends,•Floating required among up to three sites in the same county based on business need, census, and absences,Job Requirements•Minimum of 3 years experience in pediatric and adult echocardiography including neonatal studies,•Current BCLS required,•RDCS (Adult) or RCS required,•Proficiency with Philips ultrasound scanners,•Experience with bubble studies, contrast agents, pharmacologic and treadmill stress echocardiograms,•Recent experience in ER settings required,•Ability to work with both adult and pediatric populations,•License required if applicable,•Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel between locations,Additional Information•Must demonstrate proficiency in all pediatric protocols and pass competency sign-off by Pediatric Cardiologist within 1-2 days of onboarding,•Responsibilities include performing high quality structural and functional echocardiograms for all age groups in both inpatient and outpatient settings,•EKG competency exam must be passed on first attempt if assigned to critical care/procedural areas,•Dress code allows any scrubs without logos,•Parking available with shuttle services for day/evening shifts and on-site parking for nights; parking application and fee may apply,•Maximum 5 days of requested time off preferred, total RTO not to exceed 10 days for contract consideration,•First-time travelers are welcome to apply,•Locals are accepted at the same pay rate,•Must be willing to float to Glenbrook, Skokie, Highland Park, and Evanston locations,],•hash,:•12407434109030988157,
