Travel Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer - Echo/Cardiac

American Traveler is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer with 3+ years of adult echocardiography experience and current BLS and relevant sonography certification.Job Details•Work in an acute care setting in the echocardiography department,•Adult patient population focusing exclusively on adult echocardiograms,•Department has 12 total scanning rooms,•Expected to perform approximately 8 studies daily, with 1 hour per study slot,•Procedures include use of image enhancing agents, shunt (bubble) studies, and STRAIN imaging,•Equipment utilized includes Philips Epiq 7 and GE Vivid E95 for echo,•EMR is Epic; echo reporting systems are ISCV and Medstreaming for vascular,•Day shift schedule, either 5x8-hour weekdays (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM) or 4x10-hour weekdays (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM), depending on lab needs,•Occasional weekend coverage requested,•No call or floating required,Job Requirements•Minimum of 3 years adult echocardiography experience required,•Current BLS certification required,•Valid sonography credential required: ARDMS, RDCS, RCS, or RDMS,•Must live at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted,•License required if applicable,•Experience with Epic EMR preferred,•Ability to perform STRAIN imaging, use of image enhancing agents, shunt studies, and preparation of preliminary reports for MD,Additional Information•Primary duties include conducting adult echocardiograms and preparing preliminary reports for physicians,•Support from lead echo sonographer and lead vascular sonographer provided,•Orientation provided by clinical preceptor and departmental leads,•Scrubs may be of own choosing; color not dictated by department,•Must not have worked at any WVU facility in the previous 2 years if prior travel or perm staff,•Travel assignments within WVU limited to 1 year, followed by a mandatory 2-year break,•No holiday or on-call coverage required,•First-time travelers welcome to apply,],•hash,:•16185704894857353774,
