Key Responsibilities

Leverage and define AWS environments and workloads using Infrastructure as Code tools

Orchestrate application delivery across stateless and stateful resources via Configuration Management and Continuous Deployment tools

Transition bare metal and VM-hosted applications to containers and serverless architectures

Migrate legacy or non-scalable platforms to high-availability, scalable cloud architectures (including web apps, databases, and storage, etc.)

Execute data and application migrations from on-premise to AWS

Automate platform operations and application delivery processes

Implement optimized AWS solutions with consideration for cost efficiency, scalability, and high availability

Qualifications

2-3 years working with a major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred

Relevant cloud certifications preferred (or expected within first 90 days)

Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, or ARM Templates

Proficient scripting on Linux or Windows using Bash, Python, or PowerShell, including use of the AWS SDK or CLI

Familiarity with key security practices (IAM, least privilege, firewalls, patching, antivirus, etc.)

Experience in traditional VM, containerized (Docker, Kubernetes), or serverless architectures

Solid understanding of enterprise architecture across networks, systems, and applications

Skilled in version control systems like Git, VSTS, or SVN

2-3 years of systems engineering or administration experience on Linux or Windows

Exposure to CI tools and practices (Jenkins, Travis, CircleCI, Bamboo)

Strong communication skills across all organizational levels
