Were looking for an experienced
PACS Administrator
to join our healthcare technology team. In this critical role, youll oversee the day-to-day operations, integration, and optimization of our
Picture Archiving and Communication System
(PACS). Your mission: ensure the secure, seamless, and high-performance flow of medical imaging data that supports accurate diagnosis and top-tier patient care. Key Responsibilities System Administration Install, configure, and maintain PACS systems to ensure continuous, reliable operation.
User Support & Training
Provide technical support and hands-on training for radiologists, techs, and clinicians.
Data Security & Compliance
Safeguard patient data and ensure compliance with HIPAA, JTC, ACR, and other federal/state regulations. Diagnose and resolve complex system, hardware, software, and network issues.
Systems Integration
Collaborate with IT and clinical teams to integrate PACS with EMR and other health IT platforms.
Performance Monitoring
Continuously monitor and tune PACS performance for speed, uptime, and reliability.
What Were Looking For Required Experience & Skills
Experience managing PACS applications, preferably in a Dental healthcare setting. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Healthcare IT, Radiologic Technology, or related field. Expertise in DICOM, PACS enterprise systems, and medical imaging workflows. Solid understanding of HIPAA and data privacy/security in healthcare environments. Proven experience with PACS vendor software, system deployments, and application support. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities in a complex tech environment. Excellent communication, coordination, and customer service skills. Ability to work cross-functionally with stakeholders, clinicians, and IT leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
CIIP (Certified Imaging Informatics Professional)
or equivalent PACS certification. Certification as
Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
or
Radiology Management (ARM) .
