50623 Prestige Staffing is seeking an experienced

PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) Specialist

contractor with expertise in

InteleShare

and

VXvue

software. This role involves supporting, maintaining, and optimizing medical imaging systems to ensure seamless workflow and secure access to diagnostic imaging data. The ideal candidate will work closely with radiology, IT, and clinical teams to deliver high-quality support and system administration on a contract basis.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer and maintain PACS platforms, with a focus on

InteleShare

and

VXvue

environments. Provide technical support for image acquisition, transmission, storage, and viewing. Troubleshoot PACS issues and resolve system-related errors efficiently. Monitor system performance and ensure uptime, data integrity, and user accessibility. Assist with PACS-related integrations, such as with RIS, HIS, or EMR systems. Implement and maintain user profiles, worklists, and access controls. Provide user training and documentation as needed. Support upgrades, patches, and testing of PACS and imaging software. Collaborate with vendor support teams and internal IT stakeholders for escalated issues. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and imaging data security protocols.

Qualifications:

Minimum

2-3 years of experience

as a PACS Administrator or Imaging IT Specialist. Strong hands-on experience with

InteleShare

and

VXvue

software. Proficient in DICOM, HL7, and network protocols related to imaging systems. Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a contract-based setting. Experience supporting imaging modalities and clinical staff in healthcare environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

CIIP certification or other relevant IT/Imaging credentials. Prior experience working as a healthcare IT contractor. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and integration workflows.
