Overview
Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Albany is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Program Director for End of Life Services to join our team at Mary’s Haven in Saratoga County. At Mary’s Haven, we are committed to providing a peaceful, dignified, and compassionate journey for individuals at the end of life, and we are looking for a visionary leader who shares this mission.
As the Program Director, you will guide and inspire our team, ensuring that individuals and their families experience exceptional care and support during one of life’s most profound transitions. You will play a critical role in shaping the care experience, leading with empathy and integrity, and upholding the highest standards of excellence.

Responsibilities
Develop and implement program policies and procedures
Evaluate and select potential clients/families in keeping with program guidelines
Coordinate a plan of care for clients and provide information and support for families in coordination with Hospice staff and volunteers
Coordinate pastoral care in support of clients, families, and staff when necessary
Recruit, train and supervise program volunteers
Ensure 24-hour coverage utilizing volunteers and on-call per diem staff
Oversee program correspondence and record keeping
Compensation and Schedule Director of Mary’s Haven Minimum Salary: $26.00
Director of Mary’s Haven Maximum Salary: $27.00
Schedule: This position requires occasional availability during nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed. The role is 28 hours per week. The hiring manager will determine schedule dependent on the needs of Mary’s Haven.
Qualifications
Valid driver’s license, proof of current car insurance and registration and access to a reliable, working vehicle
Bachelor's Degree in a related field
1-3 years of experience working with a diverse population
Experience in the medical/death and dying arena
Comfortable with exposure to blood and bodily fluids
