Overview
Senior Manager – IT Active Directory at Kraft Heinz is a critical role responsible for the daily operations and transformation of Kraft Heinz’s Identity and Access Management (IAM) program. The position leads architecture and strategy, resource management, workload prioritization, authentication, and partner collaboration to ensure operational excellence. A strong understanding of Active Directory and Entra is required to execute projects, daily activities, troubleshooting, and to set clear expectations, goals, and success criteria. The role partners with internal and external stakeholders to understand business requirements, data flows, and future-state strategies, and to provide input and leadership shaping the IAM function. Deliverables should enhance user experience while accommodating legacy infrastructure and elevating it to modern standards.
Responsibilities
Ensure that Active Directory and Entra ID security controls are developed and enforced across platforms to comply with IAM and industry standards.
Identify weaknesses in Active Directory and Entra ID and develop corrective action plans to mitigate risks with a seamless user experience.
Design, implement, and support IAM processes; proactively develop improvements such as passwordless technologies.
Oversee AD and Entra ID administration: user accounts, authentication, conditional access policies, group policies, trust relationships, domain controllers, and replication.
Manage AD disaster recovery, AAD Connect, health monitoring, and troubleshoot issues related to AD, Entra ID, replication and syncing, authentication, and login services.
Ensure scalability and availability of the AD infrastructure to support a growing enterprise environment.
Collaborate with IAM team members, architectural, development and engineering teams, service owners, and business stakeholders to deliver enterprise IAM solutions that are scalable, adaptable, and aligned with business needs and industry demands.
Participate in evaluating existing and new Active Directory infrastructure and security standards and help define future architecture.
Build strong partnerships through trust and value.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant information security experience or equivalent.
In-depth knowledge of Active Directory, Entra ID, PKI and other Identity Management technologies/solutions.
Expertise in AD security best practices, vulnerability management, and security remediation.
Proven track record implementing security initiatives and frameworks in flexible, unstructured environments.
Strong scripting with PowerShell, batch, Bash, and C#.
Strong networking knowledge: Wireshark, LDAP/LDAPS, sockets, SSL/TLS, and cipher suites.
Familiarity with standards such as FIPS 140, NIST 800-53/800-63, and the NIST CSF.
New Hire Base Salary Range $118,400.00 – $148,000.00
Bonus This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
