Montrose Environmental Group is seeking a dynamic and visionary Senior Vice President (SVP) of U.S. Environmental & Engineering Services (EES) to lead a diverse and growing portfolio of environmental consulting and engineering teams across the United States. This executive will be responsible for setting and executing the divisions strategic direction, driving operational excellence, delivering client value, and achieving financial performance across a $150M+ division. The EES division comprises over 600 professionals across 15+ acquired businesses, and continues to grow through both organic initiatives and strategic acquisitions. This role is pivotal in unifying those teams under a shared vision while honoring their technical diversityfrom turnkey remediation services to complex permitting and compliance projects. As a key member of the MEG Consulting Segment Senior Leadership Team, the SVP will bring thought leadership, operational rigor, and a client-first mindset to advance MEGs position as a leader in environmental and engineering services. This position can be based remotely in the U.S. and will require a willingness to travel regularly (to visit with teams and clients in particular). About You

U.S. Environmental & Engineering Services Division . What You Will Do

Lead and unify a national portfolio of environmental consulting and engineering teams; set strategic direction; drive operational excellence; deliver client value; and achieve financial performance for a $150M+ division. Oversee over 600 professionals across 15+ acquired businesses and guide organic growth and acquisitions. Maintain a client-first mindset and ensure cross-functional collaboration across the MEG Consulting Segment. Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a national growth strategy aligned with MEGs goals and segment priorities; identify trends and opportunities; enable cross-functional collaboration; influence national marketing and go-to-market strategies. Operational Excellence: Oversee project delivery with safety, quality, and compliance; implement data-driven processes for scheduling, resource allocation, risk management, and performance measurement; standardize and scale practices across businesses; drive pricing and proposal efficiency. P&L and Financial Leadership: Own full P&L accountability for the EES division; lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and investment prioritization; monitor performance and adjust as needed. Talent Strategy & Organizational Development: Lead workforce planning, staff utilization, and succession strategies; attract, develop, and retain talent; mentor distributed leadership. Client & Partner Engagement: Build executive relationships with strategic clients and regulators; sponsor major accounts and pursuits; represent MEG at national industry events. Your Expertise And Skills

Bachelors degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology, Business, or related field (Masters preferred). 15+ years of progressive leadership in environmental or engineering services, including 5+ years at the senior executive level. Proven track record managing large-scale operations with $150M+ P&L oversight across multiple geographies. Deep understanding of U.S. environmental regulations and consulting market dynamics; knowledge of Canadian or Australian frameworks a plus. Demonstrated expertise in leading through change, integrating acquired businesses, and scaling operations in complex, matrixed environments. Exceptional leadership, business acumen, negotiation, and communication skills. Key Attributes
