Overview

Vice President, Internal Audit Project Leader – Broker Dealer & Treasury Services. This role supports Broker-Dealers and Treasury Services within the Markets and Wealth Services Internal Audit team. Location: New York City or Lake Mary, FL. Responsibilities

Leads or performs audit related activities and works as a team member on audit assignments. Functions as an in-charge on audits and/or regulatory validations. Knowledge and experience in broker-dealer and treasury services operations. Performs risk-focused fieldwork, in accordance with Internal Audit policies, methodologies, and standards in order to identify meaningful issues, risks and other exposures in the area of the company being audited. Draws on extensive experience and/or specialist skills (for example technology, advanced operational knowledge, modelling, or related) to plan and deliver audits. Applies advanced analytical problem-solving skills and leads others in solving complex issues and identifying innovative solutions. Contributes technical or specialized skills or business knowledge to solve audit issues when needed. Identifies inconsistencies with the control environment, regulatory requirements and best practices and initiates the development of a structure or solution to address the issue(s). Identifies opportunities for automation and advances recommendations for software support requests. No direct reports. Demonstrates leadership through guidance and training of less experienced peers and via client advisory. Contributes to the achievement of team goals. Modified based upon local regulations/requirements. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant critical thinking specialty. 7-10 years of experience working in banking or auditing. Additional core skill requirements include understanding of analytics results for Audit, critical thinking and problem solving. Location

New York City or Lake Mary, FL. Compensation

The base salary for this position is expected to be between $100,000 and $160,000 per year at the commencement of employment. Base salary is determined on an individualized basis, including experience and market location, and is only part of the total compensation package, which may also include discretionary bonuses and Company-sponsored benefits.
