The Chan Zuckerberg Biohub San Francisco (CZ Biohub SF) is an independent nonprofit research institute that brings together three powerhouse universities Stanford, UC Berkeley, and UC San Francisco into a single collaborative technology and discovery engine. CZ Biohub SF supports engineers, data scientists, and biomedical researchers to investigate the fundamental mechanisms underlying disease and develop new technologies that will lead to actionable diagnostics and effective therapies. Organizes and prioritizes critical issues and required information for members of the extended leadership team to facilitate efficient decision making Collaborates with Group and Platform leaders to invite and manage external seminar speakers Manages the schedules, scheduling meetings and planning travel, for members of the leadership and extended leadership teams Planning, coordinating and keeping contents of key meetings focused and on track Plan and provide logistical support for Science and Technology meetings/events (i.e., prepare agendas, slides, and manage physical logistics for in-person meetings) Assist the operations team with project tracking, project status updates, and management of internal events as needed This role will be based in San Francisco and Redwood Shores initially, with a planned transition to Redwood City in two years Qualifications
Essential qualifications
5+ years of professional experience with related administrative, operations, or project management with prior experience supporting complex, integrated teams in a fast paced environment Strong project management and coordination skills Excellent attention to detail Ability to diffuse work conflict using strong interpersonal skills Ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously Excellent problem-solving skills Strong emotional intelligence Highly resourceful with strong self-motivation Excellent analytical skills Strategic mindset Strongly developed written and verbal communication skills Excellent organization and planning skills Nice to have
Bachelors degree in a Scientific field Compensation
The San Francisco, CA base pay range for this role is $57.69 - $72.12. New hires are typically hired into the lower portion of the range, enabling employee growth in the range over time. Actual placement in range is based on job-related skills and experience, as evaluated throughout the interview process. What We Provide
