Base pay range : $85,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr

Responsibilities Position summary: Responsible for utilizing all available technology in the design and/or configuration of total building control systems. This position’s emphasis is on the creation of the lowest total installed cost-effective system that meets customer expectations and quality control.
This individual responds to engineering projects and design implementation as directed by Client Services Lead Engineer. This person will be the lead resource for assembling and submitting on designed materials for procurement.
Qualifications
Background in any of the following desired: JCI, Trane, Alerton, Siemens, Honeywell, Distech, Niagara, or similar
Working knowledge in control theory, building automation systems, HVAC and other building subsystems
2+ Years of strongly relevant experience, ie
designing building automation controls for HVAC systems
5+ years in the Building Automation Systems and Controls industry preferred
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provides AutoCAD drafting support for various reliability projects (Software and computer will be provided)
Material procurement – includes assembly of Bill of Materials, validation of materials received and reconciliation of materials returned from projects to stock
Maintains project file creation and storage of all drawings, backups and documentation from commissioning/field
Field verification site visits on design as directed by Client Services Lead Engineer
Assembly of as-built drawings and delivery to customers upon completion of project
Assumes personal and professional responsibilities for his/her actions and activities
Maintains a professional relationship with supervisor, fellow employees, and others
Maintains consistency and punctuality in a submission of all work assignments to their supervisor
