Overview
Senior Solutions Consultant, Medical Device at PTC. The Senior Solutions Consultant (SC) is an SME responsible for presales technical leadership of qualified sales opportunities, working closely with sellers to articulate, facilitate, and validate the technical value proposition of PTC’s solutions aligned to customer needs and strategic priorities. In addition to supporting pre-sales activities, they ensure a smooth transition from pre-sales to implementation and support the maintenance phase of the customer journey. SCs also capture market feedback on changing customer needs and communicate requirements for new technology and product solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Engagements and Validation – Qualify and validate technical requirements ensuring solution fit and implementation plans are aligned to the customer’s needs and strategic priorities. Expected to lead and deliver tailored demonstrations, multi-day evaluations, and proof-of-concepts using PTC solutions.
Customer Relationship Management – Manage customer relationships, advocating for customer interests and addressing issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction and loyalty.
Technical Leadership and Sales Support – Lead technical validation aspects of sales opportunities, demonstrating product knowledge and industry expertise to drive successful engagements and technical closure.
Business Development and Revenue Growth – Drive adoption of PTC solutions, identify new opportunities, and collaborate with internal teams to expand software usage and drive ARR growth.
Trusted Advisor – Provide expert technical advice based on industry, market, PTC and enterprise transformation knowledge.
Qualifications
Excellent communication, presentation, and persuasion skills
Strong background in the medical device industry
Enterprise Software, Implementation & Governance knowledge
Product Development, Engineering, IT, Manufacturing, and Service process knowledge desirable
8+ years of experience as a technical SME supporting an enterprise software solution such as ERP, CRM, SCM, or preferred solutions like CAD, PLM, ALM, and SLM.
PTC Solutions knowledge and experience preferred
Educational: University Degree
Majors: Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent

Salary and Benefits: The salary range for this position is between $86,700 - $130,000. Compensation will vary based on factors including background, experience, and location, and may include a discretionary bonus. PTC also offers an employee share purchase program and, for eligible roles, an equity grant. Benefits may include medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off and sick leave policies, tuition reimbursement, 401(k) contributions and employer matching, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, disability coverage, and a commuter subsidy.
