Cloud Automation Engineer

Honolulu, HI 96815 Responsibilities Design and implement cloud automation frameworks Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) scripts Collaborate with teams to optimize cloud workflows Monitor and troubleshoot cloud-based systems Automate deployment and scaling of applications Ensure compliance with cloud security best practices
Required Skills
Proficiency in IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation Expertise in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) Ability to implement and manage cloud monitoring tools
Desired Skills
Familiarity with serverless architectures Experience with multi-cloud strategies Understanding of advanced networking in cloud environments Hands-on experience with cloud cost optimization tools Knowledge of edge computing frameworks Expertise in integrating DevSecOps practices
Education and Alternate Experience
DEGREE (Level Desired): Bachelor's Degree DEGREE (Focus): Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Cloud Computing, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Systems Engineering, Network Engineering, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, etc. Alternate Experience: General comment on degrees: Most contracts allow additional experience (4-5 years) in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree.
