Cloud Automation Engineer role at Cymertek Corporation. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cloud Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will design, implement, and optimize automated solutions that enhance cloud infrastructure efficiency, scalability, and reliability. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows, reduce manual processes, and enable seamless deployments in a fast-paced, innovative environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about leveraging automation tools and cloud platforms to solve complex challenges and contribute to cutting-edge cloud initiatives that drive business success. This position requires U.S. citizenship and is eligible for TS/SCI Full Poly clearance.

Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud automation frameworks
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) scripts
- Collaborate with teams to optimize cloud workflows
- Monitor and troubleshoot cloud-based systems
- Automate deployment and scaling of applications
- Ensure compliance with cloud security best practices
Required Skills
- Proficiency in IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
- Expertise in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Ability to implement and manage cloud monitoring tools
Desired Skills
- Familiarity with serverless architectures
- Experience with multi-cloud strategies
- Understanding of advanced networking in cloud environments
- Hands-on experience with cloud cost optimization tools
- Knowledge of edge computing frameworks
- Expertise in integrating DevSecOps practices
Education and Alternate Experience
DEGREE (Level Desired): Bachelor's Degree
DEGREE (Focus): Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Cloud Computing, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Systems Engineering, Network Engineering, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, etc.
Alternate Experience: General comment on degrees: Most contracts allow additional experience (4-5 years) in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree. Some contracts give 4-5 years experience credit for a Bachelor's Degree. Some contracts give 2 years experience credit for a Master's Degree. We will work with you to find the right fit.
