Overview

Job Title: RPA Engineer, Automation Anywhere Location: Washington, DC or Baltimore, MD (occasional meetings) Type: Contract to Hire Compensation: 65.50 Contractor Work Model: Mostly remote with occasional meetings Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and support automation workflows using Automation Anywhere Work on browser-based GUI automation (approximately 90% of tasks) Support automation of scheduled jobs and some back-end processes Understand and work within an existing automation architecture and codebase Conduct unit testing and ensure readiness for deployment to upper environments Build front-end automations primarily focused on claims processing Utilize FTP Direct for data integration and file transfers Perform light API integrations and support other automation services as needed Collaborate with QA and operations teams to ensure quality and performance Remain adaptable to evolving RPA platforms (Automation Anywhere license through 2027) Required Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Automation Anywhere Demonstrated expertise in no-code/low-code RPA development Strong focus on GUI/browser-based automation Experience with claims or data-intensive processing workflows Knowledge of data warehouse environments Familiarity with secure file transfer methods such as FTP Direct Exposure to API integrations and process automation beyond UI tasks Quick adaptability to additional RPA platforms (e.g., UiPath, Power Automate) Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills Nice to Have

Experience with multiple RPA platforms (e.g., Power Automate, UiPath) Familiarity with enterprise automation strategies and tools Understanding of broader systems engineering tasks beyond automation Equal Opportunity Employer
