Overview The

Community Giving Manager

(CGM) plays a critical role in developing and executing mid-major and grassroots giving strategies that support Warren Village's mission. With a spirit of innovation and collaboration, the CGM will focus on engaging donors giving between $0 - $5,000 annually, driving strategic revenue growth and ensuring alignment across engagement efforts and communication channels. This role will also be responsible for designing and implementing scalable programs such as giving circles, subscription giving programs, affinity-based groups, and data-informed campaigns to cultivate, retain, and grow Warren Village's base of individual donors.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Develop and implement scalable mid-major giving strategies (for donors giving $1,000 - $5,000 annually), including giving circles, affinity groups, and donor engagement events to deepen donor connections and increase giving levels.

In collaboration with marketing staff, lead planning and execution of grassroots fundraising and stewardship efforts for donors giving up to $1,000 annually, including peer-to-peer fundraising, digital and print campaigns, and other community-based strategies to drive donor acquisition and engagement.

In collaboration with the Development Operations Coordinator, manage and execute donor-focused events, including small gatherings, appreciation events, and engagement activities tailored to mid-level and grassroots donors.

Leverage CRM and data analytics to track donor engagement, assess the effectiveness of fundraising strategies, and refine approaches based on data-driven insights.

In collaboration with marketing staff, write compelling fundraising content for appeals, campaign collateral, and donor outreach, ensuring alignment with Warren Village's brand and voice.

Develop and implement targeted donor stewardship strategies to acknowledge and engage donors at all levels, ensuring strong retention and upgrade potential.

Collaborate with marketing and communications staff to align messaging and outreach efforts across all donor engagement activities.

Monitor and report on key fundraising metrics, tracking progress toward individual and departmental revenue goals.

Competencies

Technology systems aptitude.

Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling fundraising appeals, donor messaging, and engagement materials.

Learning orientation: ability and willingness to analyze fundraising performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.

Initiative-taking and highly organized, with strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Collaborative mindset, able to collaborate effectively with colleagues across departments and engage volunteers and board members in donor cultivation efforts.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Business, Marketing, Communication, or other related field; or 8 years of related experience may be substituted for education.

3 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, marketing, or donor engagement, with experience in individual giving strategies preferred.

Strong proficiency in donor database management.

Experience planning and executing fundraising events (donor gatherings, giving circle events, etc.).

Salary & Benefits $67,811 - $74,000 DOE and licensure (Full salary range up to $78,485 for long-tenured staff currently in position or other exceptional circumstances.)
