Your Role & Responsibilities
Play a lead role in strategic planning and long-term visioning for the organization, aligning financial strategy with the ministry’s goals.
Collaborate closely with the CEO and senior leadership on growth opportunities, financial risk management, and resource allocation.
Guide financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures.
Coordinate audits and oversee accurate, timely reporting.
Lead the annual budgeting process and maintain sound expense control systems.
Provide status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting key financial data to the CEO and Board.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local legal and regulatory requirements.
Serve as a hands-on, proactive leader who takes initiative, drives projects forward, and solves problems without waiting for direction.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field; CPA or Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 8 years of progressive financial leadership experience, including at least 2 years in a CFO or senior financial role.
Proven experience in a nonprofit, standalone organization, preferably in senior living or healthcare.
Deep understanding of HUD financing, as well as Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement in long-term care environments.
Proficiency in PointClickCare and familiarity with other healthcare financial systems.
Demonstrated success in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, compliance, and audits.
Self-starter with a proven track record of identifying challenges and proposing effective, timely solutions.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Onsite, full-time presence required to support day-to-day operations and team collaboration.
