About the role As a
Senior Proposal Manager , you\'ll manage complex responses to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs under the Director of Proposal Operations. You\'ll drive proposal development and process improvement while maintaining strong performance in demanding environments with competing priorities and tight deadlines.
What You\'ll Do
Lead proposal development process from pre-proposal through post-proposal phases
Analyze solicitations, develop schedules, outlines, compliance matrices, and coordinate stakeholder content
Manage proposal timelines to ensure timely delivery and requirement compliance
Ensure technical solutions, win themes, and compliance are well-articulated throughout final documents
Conduct color team reviews and work with Solution Architects on content development
Support administrative volume development and maintain brand standard compliance
Track proposal status, conduct win/loss analysis, and lead team debriefs
Maintain project profiles, resumes, references, and past performance databases
Define and implement continual proposal process improvements
What You Bring
5+ years of Federal sector proposal management experience
Proficiency in proposal management tools (SharePoint, Microsoft Project) and MS Office Suite
Deep knowledge of Federal procurement cycles and proposal development processes
Exceptional project management, communication, and leadership skills
Strong writing and editing skills for compliance and clarity
4-year college degree or equivalent work experience
Highly preferred:
Experience with defense and intelligence community contracting
Familiarity with technology sector proposals and solution development
Experience with Agile development methodologies and DevSecOps practices
Clearance Requirements
Active TS/SCI clearance (preference given to those with favorably adjudicated Polygraph)
Salary Range
$120,000 - $160,000
The determination of compensation is predicated upon a candidate\'s comprehensive experience, demonstrated skill, and proven abilities
Work Type
Must be based in DC Metro OR Colorado Springs, CO area with ability to work onsite as needed in a SCIF environment
May require up to 10% travel
