Provide day-to-day consultation, coaching, and support to managers and employees on performance management, complaints, employment law interpretation, and workplace conflict. Lead and conduct timely investigations related to harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and other employee concerns, ensuring documentation and resolution align with legal and policy standards. Serve as the subject matter expert and lead on ADA interactive processes. Collaborate with HR leadership to maintain and implement compliant workplace policies. Facilitate training workshops on labor and employee relations topics, including ADA, performance management, and HR best practices. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (e.g., FMLA, ADA, EEO, USERRA, Workers’ Comp). Monitor and analyze employee relations trends and exit interview feedback to recommend actionable solutions. Effectively manage and document cases using ServiceNow or similar systems. Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Psychology, or related field (required). 5–7 years of progressive experience in employee and labor relations, including in unionized environments. In-depth knowledge of employment and labor laws, and a strong track record of resolving complex workplace matters. Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to influence, negotiate, and remain composed in challenging or sensitive situations. Ability to deliver impactful training and drive process improvements.
