Lead evaluation of new or emerging technologies through prototypes and proofs of concept Analyze and clearly communicate the benefits and risks of adopting new technologies Serve as a hands-on technical lead across development, operations, and security in cloud environments Guide enterprise-wide adoption of modern tools, cloud platforms, and AI/ML solutions Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior IT specialists and engineers Balance hands-on engineering with strategic architectural planning and system design Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field Ability to obtain US Government security clearance 8+ years of professional experience in software engineering or IT Proficiency in Python and experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) Experience deploying, tuning, and maintaining ML models in production (MLOps) Experience with Amazon SageMaker Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure); deep AWS experience strongly preferred Strong DevOps skills CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (CDK or Terraform), automation, and monitoring Full-stack development experience
Frontend React, TypeScript Backend Python, Pandas, Scikit-learn Data PostgreSQL, S3 Infrastructure as Code Terraform or AWS CDK Strong system architecture skills designed for secure, scalable systems with attention to both detail and big-picture strategy Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new projects and technologies Benefits
