Overview
We are seeking an experienced
Senior Estimator
to join our team, specializing in ground-up commercial projects and complex mechanical systems. This remote role is responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates, analyzing drawings and specifications, and developing accurate proposals that align with project requirements. The Senior Estimator will collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure competitive bids and comprehensive scope coverage.
Base pay range $130,000.00/yr - $170,000.00/yr
Additional compensation Additional compensation types: Annual Bonus and Sign-on bonus
Responsibilities
Prepare estimates for HVAC, plumbing, piping, and related mechanical systems.
Review plans, specifications, and subcontractor proposals to ensure accuracy.
Develop budgets, cost breakdowns, and value engineering options.
Manage bid processes, timelines, and proposal submissions.
Build and maintain vendor and subcontractor relationships.
Qualifications
7+ years of estimating experience in mechanical construction.
Strong background in ground-up commercial projects.
Proficiency with estimating software and MS Office Suite.
