Compensation

Salary:
$190,000 - $230,000 plus annual target bonus
Responsibilities
The Vice President of Safety and Compliance oversees and executes safety programs and compliance across the company, establishing standards and training to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements while fostering a safety culture that aligns with the company’s values and business strategy
Drive a strong safety culture that prioritizes cultural values throughout the company and enhances accountability at all levels
Ensure compliance with regulated standards, including DOT, FMCSA, and OSHA, while overseeing safety audits and corrective actions
Develop and train leaders to foster a proactive, preventative safety environment and enhance accountability for safety results
Oversee comprehensive safety training programs for drivers and equipment operators, focused on accident prevention and compliance
Collaborate cross-functionally to promote a robust culture of safety and manage change initiatives related to safety training and practices
Leverage data to evaluate safety program effectiveness, identify risks and trends, and implement continuous improvement strategies for exceptional safety practices
Travel up to 75%

Qualifications Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree with 15 plus years of experience in occupational safety & health, risk management, compliance and/or related field and 8 plus years of people leadership experience
Preferred Education and Experience:
Master’s Degree or other graduate degree
Certificate in Safety Management, Certified Safety Supervisor (CSS) or similar certification
Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) certification or similar certification
