Principal SAP MM Consultant

is seeking to fill this role in the consulting team. As a Principal Consultant, you will help discover and define the problem statement, identify areas for improvement, evaluate solution options and make recommendations. You will manage turnaround expectations from the team in terms of SLA/KPIs and front-end the deliverables with client stakeholders. You will create detailed design, architecture and process artifacts and implement the deployment plan. You will also support knowledge transfer to provide value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet changing needs in the global landscape. Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. At least 11 years of experience with Information Technology. All applicants authorized to work in the United States are encouraged to apply This position is based in Detroit, MI. Candidates must be willing to work from office at this location daily.
Preferred Qualifications
At least 11 years of experience in Development/Configuration/solutions evaluation/Validation and deployment At least 11 years of experience in SAP Business Process Consulting, problem definition, Architecture/Design/Detailing of Processes At least 11 years of experience in SAP Material Management and Inventory Management Strong in S4HANA SAP Material Management and Inventory Management; experience configuring and customizing Purchasing, Inventory Management, Material Requirement Planning, Variant Configuration, Valuation, IS Auto processes like JIT, S2L and Kanban Should have done minimum 1 S4 HANA greenfield end-to-end implementation Knowledge on WRICEF, EDI, Idoc, Batch processing in MM MM integration knowledge with sales, Finance, production, SCM (APO) modules Experience/expertise of MM integration points with SD, PP, and FI/CO SAP product certifications are a plus Fluency in English Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of the business Strong leadership skills; ability to lead a team in resolving complex issues in a fast-paced and challenging environment Analytical and communication skills Experience with project management High impact communication with senior stakeholders Ability to conduct design workshops
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
