Job Summary The Annual Giving department is currently seeking a student to join their team of professionals. Duties to include:

Communicate stories about the impact of annual philanthropic support with current and potential donor partners

Serve as an ambassador by establishing an open line of communication between the University and its supporters

Gain a greater understanding of the University, its organizational structure, and its annual needs for financial support

Utilize multiple communication channels (telephone, social media, email, or text) to connect with FIU constituents (alumni, parents, and friends of FIU) to build personal rapport, update demographic information, and acquire annual giving gifts

Commit to a minimum of 12 hours per week

Handle personal information with extreme confidentiality

Attend training sessions at the beginning of the semester and as needed

Record videos and write thank you notes to donors

Who May Apply

Students enrolled at FIU, who have been awarded Federal Work Study (FWS) as part of their Financial Aid Award package.

Student must be enrolled with a minimum of six (6) credit hours in a course of study leading to a degree or a Financial Aid eligible certificate, during Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters.

Upon credits decreasing, award being canceled, or graduating, FWS employment must end.

Work Schedule Hours will vary based on class schedule and needs of the department.

Advertised Salary $13.00/Hour
