What You'll Do:
Partner with your teammate to oversee the full-cycle onboarding and offboarding processes
Administer and maintain HR systems, payroll processing, and benefit programs, ensuring data accuracy and timely reporting

Support annual review and compensation processes
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as internal policies and audits
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records
Provide backup support to the recruiting team as needed
Drive HR process improvements and contribute ideas to enhance the employee experience
What We're Looking For:
5–8 years of HR experience, with strong generalist exposure
Strong knowledge of HR compliance, employment law, payroll, benefits administration, and HR best practices
Proficiency with an HRIS/payroll software system, including experience with ADP, Fidelity, Docu-Sign, and E-Verify
Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
Proactive and self-directed, with the ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
Ability to work in our Chicago Loop office five days per week
HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) a plus
All candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
