Responsibilities
The Staff Consultant will implement solutions for clients within Workiva’s cloud-based information management platform to modernize and simplify the complex work of clients’ compliance and risk management activities. Specific responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Understanding clients’ business and technical requirements by participating in collaborative meetings and working sessions
Analyzing requirements to:
Identify optimal use of Workiva’s solutions to streamline current financial reporting, risk and compliance, and ESG processes
Craft scalable, flexible, and resilient architectures that address clients’ business problems and accelerate the adoption of Workiva’s software platform
Providing exceptional service to clients, always acting as a positive brand ambassador for Citrin Cooperman
Assisting with the development of technical standards, work plans, estimates, requirement analyses, risk management & technology life-cycle plans, and documentation
Building and maintaining strong relationships within technology partner, clients, and configuring various modules within the Workiva platform
Perform data migration tasks from legacy to current business solutions
Perform system testing and issue resolution support
Troubleshoot and support Workiva solutions
Assisting with client adoption of the Workiva platform through enablement training and testing
Complete project tasks as assigned, on time and budget
Provide project status updates to Manager on a regular basis
Ability to work in a team or individually, as required
Receptive to mentoring
Qualifications
Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Accounting or Information Technology, or another relevant field
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Intermediate proficiency with Excel
High level of motivation, organization, and commitment to professional development for self and team
Experience successfully working independently with minimal instruction while remaining communicative
Unwavering integrity and ethics
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Workiva’s platform
1 year of ERP, GRC or ESG system implementation experience
1 year of management consulting and/or 1 year of public accounting experience
Understanding of accounting, risk and compliance, or ESG and Sustainability processes
Basic proficiency with SQL, database design and queries
Understanding of systems integrations technologies (e.g. API, SFTP, etc.)
