Vice President of Engineering . As a member of the Executive Team, this strategic leader will oversee all engineering operations, drive innovation, and ensure successful product development aligned with business goals. This high-visibility position reports to the CEO and leads efforts in driving transformation, cutting-edge solutions, engineering excellence, and operational impact. Base pay and compensation
Base pay range: $285,000.00/yr - $305,000.00/yr Additional compensation types: Annual Bonus Responsibilities Lead with a future-focused mindset, encouraging continuous innovation and breakthrough solutions. Provide strategic technical direction to align engineering efforts with business goals. Lead engineering strategy and drive continuous improvement, Lean, and Agile practices. Oversee product development from concept through release, ensuring quality and scalability. Manage engineering teams, budgets, and cross-functional collaboration to meet delivery targets. Foster a culture of innovation, safety, and accountability across the engineering organization.
Key Requirements
15+ years engineering experience with 5+ years in senior leadership, in manufacturing. Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field required; advanced degree preferred. Track record of leading and empowering teams to challenge convention and deliver next-generation products and solutions. Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, SPC, quality standards, and engineering best practices. Proficiency with ERP systems, data analytics, and CAD software. Located or willing to relocate to Grand Rapids, MI area.
