Overview

Responsibilities
Prepare the intercompany accounting process across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and completeness of intercompany transactions including intercompany elimination, revaluation, translation and consolidation.
Maintain the intercompany subledger and any downstream subledgers, focusing on managing automations and data integrity.
Oversee accounting and close activities for assigned areas including debt, certain functional expense accruals, journal entry preparation, reconciliation preparation, and fluctuation analysis.
Collaborate cross-functionally with the finance organization, including the controllership, corporate accounting, FP&A, treasury and tax teams, to provide guidance and support on intercompany matters and expense accruals.
Work directly with internal and external auditors, by maintaining and providing support to the audit team for walkthrough procedures and manage audit support requests related to intercompany, eliminations and consolidations workstreams.
Partner with IT and automations teams to continuously improve system automation to help scale accounting operations.
Assist with ad-hoc projects as needed.

Compensation At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $133,200 - $173,900
Zone B: $120,600 - $157,450
Zone C: $110,700 - $144,525
