American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for day shifts with at least 2 years of experience and Siemens and Level 1 trauma experience.Job Details•Work in a radiology CT scanner unit at a Level 1 trauma facility,•Day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM with weekend coverage required,•Assignment is 13 weeks in length,•Rotation required within the department and off-site radiology clinics as needed,•Patient population includes trauma and acute cases,•CT procedures performed using Siemens scanners and related equipment,•EPIC charting system is used and experience is required,Job Requirements•Current MA Radiologic Technologist license and ARRT (CT) certification required,•Minimum of 2 years experience as a radiologic technologist, with at least 1 year in cross-sectional anatomy,•Experience in Level 1 trauma settings is required,•Experience with Siemens CT equipment is required,•BLS certification through AHA required,•Must be a graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program,•Proof of MA license required at time of consideration; no pending or conditional licenses accepted,•COVID-19 and flu vaccination required, with no exemptions allowed,•License required if applicable,Additional Information•Duties include operating CT equipment, performing venipuncture for contrast administration, and transferring images to PACS,•Must ensure patient preparation, safety, and comfort throughout imaging procedures,•Ability to exercise independent judgment and initiative under pressure,•Must stock and prepare equipment and supplies for daily operations,•Expected to attend staff meetings and maintain required CEUs,•Will oversee and instruct technologist students as needed,•Local candidates must reside at least 60 miles from facility for full travel rate eligibility; closer candidates will receive a reduced rate,•Personal transportation and parking costs are the responsibility of the employee, and validated parking is not available,•First-time travelers will be considered for this position,•RTO must be declared at the time of consideration
