Travel CT Technologist - CT Scan

American Traveler is seeking an ARRT-registered CT Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and the ability to start pending verification of a VA license application.Job Details•Work in a hospital CT department with three rooms and an average daily volume of 130 visits,•Patient cases include abdomen, pelvis, chest, head, brain perfusion, multiplanar reconstruction, vascular CTA, cervical, lumbar, musculoskeletal trauma, and thoracic exams,•Perform exams with and without contrast and start peripheral IVs,•Friday through Monday schedule with 4x10 hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM,•Experience with GE or Siemens scanners and PACS required,•Epic EMR experience preferred; participation in online Epic training required on the first day,•Floating may occur in rotation with staff and in accordance with facility policy,Job Requirements•Current ARRT certification in CT required,•BLS required,•Active VA license, or proof of VA license application and current license from another state required if applicable,•Minimum of two years of CT technologist experience required,•Experience with GE or Siemens CT scanners and PACS is required,•Experience performing a variety of CT procedures including contrast and trauma studies,•Completion of Epic EMR training required; previous Epic experience preferred,•Flu vaccine required during flu season; religious or medical exemptions reviewed according to CMS guidelines,•COVID vaccination required unless religious or medical exemption is approved,Additional Information•First-time travelers are welcome to apply,•Online Epic Radiology CT class is provided during orientation,•Grey scrubs are required for this assignment,•Facility is smoke and nicotine free,•Holiday coverage may be required,•Return travelers must have at least one year gap since prior employment at this facility,•Any requested time off must be minimal and approved at manager discretion,],•hash,:•1651481825617051605,
