Sr ETL Developer/Tech Lead-Data warehouse
Full-time Possesses functional knowledge and skills reflective of a competent practitioner with the ability to deliver on work of highest technical complexity. Strong knowledge of Oracle, Informatica, Unix Shell scripting, Autosys scheduling tool, Sub Version version control tools. Strong data warehouse applications knowledge. Knowledge of ErWin modeling, Big Data (HDFS), Data Analytical languages R, Python is a big plus. Business knowledge of Personal Lines Actuarial and Pricing. Works closely with customers to understand the business function and their requirements. Collaborates with Architects and Business Analysts to develop solutions for Actuarial business requirements. Analyzes short and long-range business needs and recommends innovative solutions to adapt to changing business environments. Coordinates with client management to specify complex business requirements across various platforms and technologies. Provides technical consulting and leadership to leverage information technologies for strategic objectives. Reviews disaster recovery plans to ensure system resilience. Coordinates activities with IT unit heads (e.g., database, operations, telecommunications, technical support). May oversee staff involved in all phases of system development and support in diverse environments. Acts as the primary technical contact for inter-unit interactions. Organizes section activities, assigns personnel, and manages project components. Prepares activity and progress reports for the section. Qualifications:
5+ years of ETL experience. At least 2 years of technical lead experience. Business knowledge of Personal Lines Actuarial and Pricing. Strong knowledge of Oracle, Informatica, Unix Shell scripting, Autosys, Sub Version. Data warehouse applications expertise. Knowledge of ErWin modeling, Big Data (HDFS), R, Python is advantageous.
