Duties
Advise clients on antitrust issues, including compliance and risk mitigation strategies
Represent clients in government investigations and enforcement actions
Manage Hart-Scott-Rodino (HSR) Act filings and merger clearance processes
Participate in antitrust litigation, including drafting motions and preparing discovery
Conduct legal research and draft memoranda on complex antitrust matters
Collaborate with internal legal teams and external regulatory agencies
Maintain and build client relationships through regular communication and consultation
Requirements
Approximately 4 years of experience in antitrust law, including:
Government investigations
Regulatory counseling
Merger review and clearance processes
Experience managing HSR filings strongly preferred
Prior work with a government agency (e.g., DOJ, FTC) is a plus
Proven ability to handle substantive case work and manage multiple client matters
Education
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited, top-tier law school
Certifications
Active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar
Admission to the D.C. Bar (or eligibility to waive in)
Skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent analytical and legal research abilities
Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset
Detail-oriented and highly organized
Ability to manage projects independently and lead client interactions
Familiarity with regulatory procedures and agency protocols (FTC, DOJ, etc.)
