Base pay range

$150,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr

A leading and fast-growing accounting firm is seeking an experienced and highly capable Senior Tax Review Accountant to join its collaborative and client-focused team. In this role, you’ll take the lead in reviewing complex tax returns, managing financial statement preparation, and delivering high-level general accounting services across various entity types. This is an ideal opportunity for a seasoned accounting professional who is eager to take ownership, work directly with clients, and help shape the firm’s continued success.
Salary Range: $150,000 - $180,000 / year DOE
Senior Tax Review Accountant Responsibilities

• Review tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S-corps, and nonprofits
• Provide hands-on accounting services, including quarterly and year-end financial statement preparation
• Manage and mentor junior staff and reviewers
• Collaborate with partners and clients to resolve tax and accounting issues
• Oversee and enforce firm quality standards for tax compliance and financial reporting
• Handle fiscal year-end closings and ensure accurate data input
• Utilize CCH Access and Engagement for tax workflow and documentation
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax codes and accounting regulations
  

Senior Tax Review Accountant Requirements

• CPA certification required
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 11–15 years of tax review and general accounting experience in a public accounting firm
• Experience handling multiple entity types
• Prior supervisory experience preferred
• Expertise in CCH Access and Engagement required
• Strong attention to detail and critical thinking
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and work independently in a deadline-driven environment
• Client-service mindset and team-oriented approach
