Job Title: Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit
Profession: RN

Experience: Minimum of 2 years ICU experience required
License: Active RN license required
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
Must-Have:
General ICU skillset including critical care intravenous drips experience, management of invasive lines, cardiac rhythm interpretation, ventilator management, and wound care.
Experience with ventilated patients, stroke and thrombectomy management, overdose patients, and complex gastrointestinal cases.
Description:
This position is for an experienced RN in the Intensive Care Unit.
The facility is a licensed 457-bed hospital with a Level 3 Trauma designation and several Centers of Excellence.
The unit consists of 40 beds with an average patient census of 40.
Patient ratios will be 1:1 to 1:3 depending on acuity.
Support within the department includes CNAs, charge nurses, hospitalists, and intensivists available 24/7.
Telemetry monitoring is provided.
Travelers may float within the designated region based on patient care needs, adhering to their scope of practice.
Weekend rotation is required every other weekend.
Travelers will be expected to work 75% of holidays.
Requests for time off can be approved, but must ensure contracted hours are met.
Teamwork is emphasized across shifts, fostering a supportive work environment.
Scrub color is navy.
The position offers free designated teammate parking.
