About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) to provide executive-level vision, strategy, and leadership for district-wide human resources. The successful candidate will be a visionary and experienced leader with a proven track record in developing collaborative relationships, and transparent and inclusive leadership, and will excel in aligning strategy, people, and activities to meet the strategic goals of the organization. The CHRO will be responsible for overseeing all HR functions, including organizational and professional development, wellness, classification and compensation, benefits, personnel policy development, performance management, talent management, and employee engagement and retention programs.
This role requires a solutions-oriented and proactive individual with strong relationship-building and process optimization skills, and an understanding of service delivery models within a shared governance environment. The CHRO will also serve as an advisor on HR issues, identify emerging trends, and work with executives and constituent groups to further the organization's vision. Essential functions include establishing a comprehensive HR roadmap, managing the departmental budget, and ensuring the development of policies and training related to all HR aspects. The ideal candidate will foster a collegial and respectful environment and will be expected to manage and negotiate relationships with HR service providers and other external entities.
