The Material Handler supports manufacturing operations by ensuring materials, components, and finished goods are received, stored, and distributed accurately and efficiently. This role is a key link in maintaining inventory integrity, supporting production flow, and meeting customer quality standards in a regulated medical device manufacturing environment.Responsibilities:Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming materials, components, and supplies.Stage and deliver materials to production areas per work orders and schedules.Return unused materials to proper storage locations, ensuring correct labeling and traceability.Maintain accurate inventory through regular cycle counts, reconciliations, and reporting of discrepancies.Organize, label, and store materials to ensure accessibility, compliance, and product identification standards.Package and prepare finished goods for shipment in accordance with company and customer requirements.Follow established procedures for handling controlled or sensitive materials.Support compliance with FDA, ISO, and other applicable regulatory requirements.Identify process improvement opportunities and communicate them to leadership.Adhere to safety procedures, ensuring a clean, orderly, and hazard-free work environment. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required.Prior experience in material handling, warehouse operations, or manufacturing preferred.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to follow written procedures, work instructions, and safety guidelines.Familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems preferred.Effective communication and teamwork skills.Comfortable working in a fast-paced, quality-focused environment. Prolonged periods of standing and walking throughout production and warehouse areas.Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling.Regular handling of boxes, containers, and materials weighing 25-50 lbs, with occasional lifting up to 60 lbs unassisted; team lifts or mechanical aids required for heavier loads.Ability to climb step stools or small ladders to access shelving.Repetitive grasping, holding, and handling products and packaging materials.Exposure to a manufacturing environment with moving machinery, moderate noise, airborne particles, and occasional use of cleaning or packaging chemicals.Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection must be worn as required.
