As a skilled Diagnostic Radiographer, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality medical imaging services to patients across a range of settings.
Using advanced technology and equipment, you will conduct diagnostic radiology procedures, including routine radiographic studies and fluoroscopy studies, to capture detailed images that aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for examinations, ensuring they understand the procedure and any necessary steps, to minimize anxiety and discomfort.
- Operate digital fluroscope equipment to capture high-quality images, adhering to strict protocols and regulations to ensure radiation safety.
- Critique images for optimal interpretation, providing valuable feedback to improve diagnostic accuracy and inform treatment decisions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records, documenting patient interactions, procedures, and results.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordinated care, delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited radiography program with a strong understanding of medical imaging principles and practices.
- Registered with ARRT and hold a valid Ohio Radiologic License, as well as BLS certification.
- Proficient in operating advanced medical imaging equipment, including digital fluroscopes and X-ray units, to deliver high-quality images and services.
