Who are Hypersphere?
Hypersphere is a crypto-native investment platform that partners with early-stage and public blockchain networks. We focus on identifying asymmetric opportunities in private and public digital asset markets to generate superior returns for our investors. Our team combines digital expertise with traditional finance, operations, legal, and compliance skills. In July 2024, we announced the launch of our new liquid fund, Hypersphere Atlas, which manages over $250 million and has grown steadily since its stealth launch in February. We are seeking an Analyst to work directly with Founder Jack Platts and our team. Responsibilities
Portfolio Development:
Build and manage systems that connect portfolio companies with advisors, mentors, and industry stakeholders to support successful launches. Resource Management:
Create and maintain resources such as templates, best practices, and playbooks to assist portfolio companies in product development, marketing, and go-to-market strategies, especially related to token-generation events (TGEs). Partnerships:
Forge strategic partnerships with service providers and promote collaboration among portfolio companies to create synergies. Deal Sourcing:
Cultivate relationships that lead to new investment opportunities. Data and Insights:
Analyze portfolio performance data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for support. Fundraising Support:
Help portfolio companies prepare for fundraising by advising on pitch decks, investor outreach, and strategies. Internal Coordination:
Keep internal teams updated on portfolio progress, quarterly audits, token unlocks, and investment harvesting. Research:
Stay informed about new blockchain projects, protocols, and developments; analyze and report key information. Data-driven Analysis:
Conduct fundamental analysis of various cryptocurrency networks and sectors. Teamwork:
Collaborate with the investment committee to turn research into actionable investment insights. Token Economics:
Analyze tokenomics and value accrual mechanisms of proposed tokens. Investment Suggestions:
Provide investment recommendations based on research and industry trends. Vertical Mapping:
Map sectors within the digital asset landscape, such as DeFi and NFTs. Portfolio Integration:
Work with portfolio companies to support their success and understand Hypersphere’s value-adding strategies. Reconciliation:
Maintain and reconcile trade data. Assessments:
Perform technical evaluations of protocols and projects.
