Are you a skilled bartender with a passion for creating memorable experiences? We’re looking for an enthusiastic and friendly bartender to join our team at Paraiso! If you love working in a fast-paced environment, have excellent customer service skills, and know how to craft the perfect cocktail, we'd love to meet you. Our bar has a focus on agave spirits.

As a bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks, providing outstanding service to our guests, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area. Whether you’re shaking up a classic cocktail, recommending a drink from our seasonal menu, or making guests feel at home, you'll be an essential part of creating a fun, welcoming atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare & Serve Drinks: Mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers.

Customer Service: Greet guests with a smile, take orders, and provide recommendations for drinks or food pairings. Ensure guests have an excellent experience.

Maintain Bar Area: Keep the bar clean, organized, and well-stocked throughout the shift. Ensure that all tools and equipment are in working order.

Inventory Management: Monitor liquor and bar supplies, ensuring stock levels are maintained and notifying management when reordering is necessary.

Cash Handling: Process payments, handle cash and credit card transactions accurately, and maintain a balanced cash drawer.

Compliance: Check IDs and adhere to all legal requirements for serving alcohol. Promote responsible drinking and ensure guest safety.

Qualifications:

Experience: Previous bartending or hospitality experience is preferred, but not required.

Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge: Familiarity with drink recipes, cocktail preparation, and basic bar equipment.

Team Player: Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with other staff to ensure smooth operations.

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy items (kegs, bottles), and move quickly in a busy setting.

Certifications: TIPS certification or similar responsible alcohol service certification preferred (training available).
