Senior Desktop Support Specialist - Corporate
The Senior Desktop Support Specialist plays a critical role in delivering high-touch, responsive technical support to the company's executive team and senior leadership. This role ensures seamless operation of all end-user technology used by executives, including PCs, mobile devices, printers, and collaboration tools. The specialist manages the full lifecycle of executive computing assets and serves as a trusted technology advisor, ensuring a proactive and reliable support experience. Roles and Responsibilities: Provide white-glove technical support to executive team members, both in-person and remotely, ensuring minimal downtime and a highly responsive service experience. Deliver personalized onboarding and training to new executives and administrative staff, ensuring efficient use of hardware, software, and collaboration tools. Oversee the procurement, configuration, deployment, maintenance, and retirement of computing devices and peripherals for executive users. Anticipate technical issues and perform preventive maintenance on executive devices to avoid service disruptions. Prioritize and manage service requests from executives through the IT helpdesk system, maintaining detailed documentation and timely resolution of issues. Enforce IT security policies and ensure executive systems comply with company standards while balancing ease of use and data protection. Work closely with cross-functional IT teams to resolve complex issues affecting executives and coordinate escalations as needed to ensure fast resolution. Identify recurring challenges specific to executive technology use and propose long-term solutions to enhance performance and satisfaction. Review and advise on technology requests from executive users, ensuring alignment with business needs and IT standards. Support executives during board meetings, virtual conferences, and travel, ensuring uninterrupted access to required technology and services. Education/Experience/Skill Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; some college or technical school coursework preferred. Two or more years' experience in desktop support (Windows 11) with multi-site locations preferred. PC Imaging Network printing setup and support MS Bitlocker Problem solver and tech savvy with working knowledge of office automation products, databases, basic network troubleshooting techniques and remote access applications. Preferred certifications CompTIA A+ / M365 certifications / ITIL Foundation Knowledge of system administration, LAN, Microsoft AD and M365 environments. Strong understanding and working knowledge of Microsoft M365, Active Directory, group policies (within AD). Strong problem-solving capabilities and a proactive mindset to anticipate and resolve issues before they impact business operations. Proven experience managing high-stakes support environments with a calm, solutions-oriented approach. Exceptional customer service and communication skills, with the ability to work discreetly and professionally with senior leaders.
