Job Title: Finish Carpenter

Job Description

The Skilled Construction Technician will work collaboratively within a team to build houses in a manufacturing facility. Proficiency in finish carpentry, cabinetry, trim work, precision cutting and measuring, and reading blueprints is essential.

Responsibilities

Install interior trim, moldings, doors, cabinetry, and other finish components with precision and attention to detail.

Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate execution of design specifications.

Collaborate with site supervisors and other trades to maintain project timelines and quality standards.

Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently, maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Ensure all work complies with building codes, safety regulations, and sustainability standards.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in cabinetry

Experience with construction, framing, finish carpentry, and drywall.

Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively.

Capability to read and interpret blueprints.

General labor and rough carpentry skills.

Commercial construction experience.

Installation and trim work expertise.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Journeyman level with at least 3 years of finish carpentry experience.

Ability to work with tape measures, metal studs, doors, and wood frames.

Experience in new construction, painting, and cabinetry.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sacramento, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
